Happy 11th Anniversay

Hello my crafty friends,

Today my husband Hollis and I are celebrating our 11th year anniversary.

We got married on one of the hottest day of summer 2001.  We decided to take our formal photos indoors and we started the reception early.  I am thankful for decision, as the thunderstorm came rolling in and knocked out the power to the facility were we had the reception.  We had completed all the formality of the reception and was partying and celebrating.
My son Antoney walked me down the aisle

Our first dance to StarPoint "Till the End of Time"
Mother and Son dance, one of my most memorable moments in life
Wedding Party, too big to count..lol
The other couple’s  reception in the same facility, guest were just having dinner.  We felt bad for them, but relieved we had everything done.

My husband and I laughed that evening as we joked about our union was soo powerful we made it through the storm and we can tackle any storms to come.  Love you babe!!!

I hope you enjoyed, have a great day.

We are makin' a splash at SeaWorld!!

Hello my crafty friends,

I am sharing another trip report, we went to SeaWorld today.  Here are the group pictures with my family in our t-shirts.

The t-shirts were a big hit in the park.  I love the beautiful scenery, shows and animal exhibits at SeaWorld.  I cannot forget the rides, my family loves them.

The Shamu Rocks show was incredible; I do miss the trainer’s interactions the whales in the pool.  You can tell SeaWorld put a lot of thought into keeping the audience captivated.

Shamu splashed my group 5 times..lol..They were soaked!!

At the end of the day, I can truly say “We were makin’a Splash!!”

I hope you enjoyed, have a great day.

Everything and Kitchen Sink

Hello my crafty friends,

I took the family to Disney’s Beaches and Cream Soda Parlor for their famous Kitchen Sink Special.

Only my sister Athena and Son Antoney knew about our treat.  When I say a treat, I really had no idea how big this delightful dish actually looked.

The Kitchen Sink ingredients are:
•½ cup fudge topping, warmed
 •½ cup butterscotch topping, warmed
•½ cup peanut butter topping, warmed
•1 medium banana, sliced in 1/2 –inch slices
 •1 cinnamon spice cupcake (2 ½ x 1 ¼-inch), quartered
 •1 angel food cupcake (3 x 1 ½-inch), quartered
•2 4-oz. scoops vanilla ice cream
•2 4-oz. scoops chocolate ice cream
•2 4-oz. scoops strawberry ice cream
•1 4-oz. scoop mint chocolate chip ice cream
•1 4-oz. scoop coffee ice cream
 •3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
 •¼ cup marshmallow crème
 •¼ cup strawberry topping
 •¼ cup pineapple topping
•1 14-oz can dairy whipped topping
 •1 brownie (6-inch x 6-inch), quartered
 •1 regular-sized (2 ounce) candy bar, quartered
•4 chocolate cookies with cream filling
 •1 tablespoon sliced toasted almonds
•1 tablespoon dark and white chocolate shavings
•1 tablespoon chocolate cookies with cream filling, crushed
•1 tablespoon chopped jellied orange slices (approximately 2 large slices)
•1 tablespoon milk chocolate chip morsels
•1 tablespoon peanut butter chip morsels
 •1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles
 •1 tablespoon rainbow sprinkles
 •½ cup drained maraschino cherries

The surprise went over very well, my family had no idea what was in store for them, and the shocked looks on their faces were priceless. Here are two short videos that were captured when the parlor sounded the alarms.

We had a two table challenge to see who could complete this treat.
Well, the kids table won, my table gave up..lol

This is consequences of the Famous Kitchen Sink.

I hope you enjoyed, have a great day; I am ready to kick this vacation off.

Orlando Vacation Kickoff

Hello my crafty friends,

I am kicking off my Orlando Family Vacation for 2012.  My family and I have made this our family vacation tradition for the past 12 years. We use to drive from Boston to Orlando; I wanted to have the special quality time.  I soon learned taking a quick 3hr flight instead of 24hr drive equal time as we had more time to relax on vacation.  This vacation is like Christmas in the summer, I absolutely love watching my family laugh, eat and play with no worries of this world.

Every year I always say I am going to pack light, and every year I pack more. Recently I have travel with my scrapping supplies to hang out by the pool to make to complete some projects, well it has become my husband’s nightmare when he see me pull out the scrapping luggage..lol.

pink and white polka dots bag is one of the scrapping bags
black duffy bag in front is the second scrapping bag..OH MY..
I found it funny (maybe not) that TSA inspected BOTH my scrapping bags.  What do they thing I am going to do with a glue gun, paper or inks...scrap..lol

The Rental house is absolutely beautiful, great scenery and activities for all ages.

I hope you enjoyed, have a great day.   I am ready to kick this vacation off.
