Tim Times Ten Challenge-Day 3

Day 3 challenge theme is Steampunk, the following items had to be incorporated in the tag, heat emboss, sponging, a key, 3D arrow, hand and at least one of the items had to be metal…This is my first steampunk project.  I looked everywhere in my stash for a hand, the only only hand I had available was Mickey Mouse hands. 'What We Have Wednesdays!'

Michelle over at Now Stamp This  is hosting a monthly challenge  "What We Have Wednesdays!", for Sistas Scrap Too to create a card, layout or altered project using your scrapping inventory.  This a great way to use your stash that you may have put aside after one use, I am infamous for this.  So put your cricut cartridge, cardstock, copics, stamps, punches and equipment to work.  For my first challenge, I wanted to put my YUDU cardshop to work.   It was a sweet treat to me when I brought it.

My second project is a simple card, using cardstock, cricut Floral Embellishment and Elegant Edges, gel pens, ribbon and. I-rock bling.

I hope you have enjoyed, come back and check out what the ladies are creating for  “What We Have Wednesday”

Tumblers

I am a great shopper of items used once or twice then put it away.  Well, one of my scrapping resolution is to make at least 10-20 project/gadget or specialized paper over the course of the year. I started with my Bind-It-All and fell in love with binding.  I made a group purchase of acrylic tumblers and only made four tumblers.  My son, mother, niece and nephew have been asking for tumblers so here they are...

My Son tumblers represent his high school football name and number and the Boston Celtics

My mother's tumbler with a cross and one of her  favorite quotes and flowers.

My nephew tumbler represent his Tae Kwon Do

For my nieces

 I hope you enjoyed,

Magical Inky Techniques

I am excited to reveal my final project of the Magical Inky Techniques class with Donna Salazar's at My Creative Class.

Magical Inky Techniques was an 4 week Session teaching various inking, embossing, Smooch Spritzin’ and glittering techniques using  Donna Salazar and Clearsnap products.

To prepare for this project, I used a Donna Salazar Kit and Crafty Chronicles, varierty of Smooch Spritzin, Smooch ink, color catcher, chalk eye fluid inks, embossing powders, stamps, spellbinders, Beacon's fast finish decoupage and paint brush

I die-cut Donna Salazar Crafty Chronicles to create my paper flowers and scrolls.  Then smooch spritz (caramel latte, praline &cream, tea party, cosmic pink mixed berry, wine berry and sea breeze) the cut outs.

Converted the cover-all into a box. Decoupaged  the box with the crafty chronicles and used a dry paint brush to add a light layer of acrylic paint (metalic ivory)
