Happy Birthday to Me

I want to share what my wonderful family and friends presented to me for my Big (__) Birthday.  I am so honored and blessed to each of them in my life and is forever grateful to them all.  They all know I love scrapping and it is one of my favorite hobbies, so they presented the number of gifts that represented my life.  They also threw in a few other gifts of my favorites.

Mad About Paper Blog Hop-Day 2

Day 2 of the Mad About Paper Blog Hop, I had to put the paper to work.   I created a Thinking of You Trifold Shutter Card.   I decided to use mostly Prima products for this project,  Can I just say I love Prima’s flowers and lace embellishment

In honor of March Madness I want to pay respect to my home town teams, Boston's Finest-The Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, (not forgetting to mention Boston Bruins and New England Revolutions).  I created  a Boston Finest mini album with the teams logos. 





 When you open the banner the Almight Red Sox will be the first stop on the journey.
 Second stop is the Unshakeable Boston Celtics.
Last stop in the the Unstopable New England Patriots (we should have won the SuperBowl)
This is the sports mini opened, can you believe these used to be old CD's.

Class in Session…

I never thought I would be saving paper towel or toilet paper rolls, old gift cards, CD and coffee holders until I took the Bind-It-Class.   Now I am saving anything and everything I can find to bind.  I have a few projects  I would like to share, a 4x4 Friendship mini album, 4x4 Post It Mini, Paper towel mini, 12 month Calendar journal and a Scrap Receipt journal (this one should interesting at the end of the year.

 For my 4X4 Friendship Mini Album, I used a 4x4 acrylic cover, 4x4 chipboardd,   black, pink and pearl paper and embellishments.  I plan to add photos of my close friends and make them a copy of the album.
For the Post-It Mini, I used 4x4 acrylic piece and chipboard, cardstock , prima butterfly, sage ribbon and pen.



For the Paper Towel Mini Album, I used shades of brown, pink and orange cardstock , embellishments  and prima flowers.  I added cream and pink tattered mist tags that I will add some journaling to.
For the 12 month Journal Book,  I used  6X6 Coverall and painted it with acrylic paint, Me &My Big Ideas specialty cardstock, Fiskar’s  Memory stamps and Footprints poem, prima flowers, ACM shimmer ribbon and glitter binder clips and clearsnaps chalk inks. **only a few months showing**
For the Scrap Receipt Album, I used 6X9 sealed envelopes, chipboard, DCWV Mi Casa  Stack, prima flowers and letters, brown and sage ribbon, tattered mist mask Color Me Crazy 24” Velvet Butterflies,  spellbinders labels eight  and aged receipts.

This is my birthday eve and the family has pampered me today, I am soo looking for to the birthday celebration tomorrow.
